At the start of the 2023 Australian Open, Lacoste unveiled Daniil Medvedev’s personal logo. The design incorporated the 2021 US Open champion’s love for gaming by integrating his initials along with signature double “i” in his first name to create an old-school video game controller.

“The logo for this collection is something I'm really proud of. It perfectly reflects all my passions. It was a true team effort with the Lacoste creative studio. I definitely want to deliver better tennis with this new custom silhouette,” Medvedev said at the time of the release.

Medvedev has been with Lacoste since 2019, his breakout season.

He would go on to reach his second Australian Open final and contested his third US Open title match along the way, all while adding five trophies to his collection. The better tennis he was seeking certainly surmounted what he accomplished a year earlier.

Now, fans of Meddy can get their hands on a t-shirt adorning the world No. 4’s logo. On Monday, Medvedev teased the opportunity on X (formerly Twitter).

“Excited to see this @lacoste shirt hit the market in the USA,” he wrote.

The shirt comes with a price tag of $75 and is available in the navy blue Medvedev modeled or standard white.

Last week, Medvedev celebrated his 28th birthday. The Moscow native is still recovering from the toll of expending the most hours in history during a single Grand Slam event after narrowly missing out on triumphing at the Melbourne major in finishing runner-up for the third time in four years.

Medvedev previously pulled out of Rotterdam and joined Rafael Nadal in withdrawing from this week’s ATP 250 event in Doha. The previous year, he won both of those tournaments as part of a three title sweep that culminated in Dubai, where he is still entered.
