The second annual IMG Future Stars event kicked off on Monday with a rousing exhibition clash between Americans Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe, who headlined the U12 tournament at the Tatoi Club in Greece.

Both Fritz and Tiafoe found themselves in Greece for the first time as they continued preparation for the clay-court swing and met youngsters competing for spots at the famed Eddie Herr International Junior Championship, an event previously won by the likes of Andy Roddick and Ana Ivanovic.

Before the exhibition match, Fritz and Tiafoe participated in a clinic with the Future Stars combatants:

Fritz is coming off a solid start to his ramp up to Roland Garros, reaching back-to-back semifinals in Monte Carlo and Munich, and is set to open his Mutua Madrid Open campaign as the No. 8 seed.

Tiafoe is looking for his first European clay victory of the season after roaring to his second career ATP title earlier this month in Houston, and is just behind Fritz as the No. 9 seed in Madrid.

The two have also entered the men’s doubles event where they will face fellow American Tommy Paul and Cameron Norrie.
