Taylor Fritz x Dobeljpeg

With seven ATP Tour titles to his name and a career-high ranking of world No. 5, Taylor Fritz knows how to handle the heat on the tennis court. And now, he’s bringing the heat off of it too, thanks to a partnership with Maestro Dobel Tequila.

Fritz has curated his own signature cocktail with the Mexican tequila brand, who have been the official tequila sponsor of various tennis events including the Miami Open, BNP Paribas Open and Western & Southern Open—and of course, the US Open. Last year, their “Ace Paloma” swept through Flushing Meadows after Dobel became the tournament’s first official tequila sponsor, and now fans have a chance to try a “Fritzy Spicy Margarita” at stateside tennis events too.

"Maestro Dobel Tequila has been a great supporter of me over the years, and I am excited to now have a cocktail with my name on it,” said Fritz, who first linked up with the brand last year.

"The Fritzy Spicy Margarita is a perfect blend of the smoothest tequila I’ve ever tasted and a spicy serve, making it the perfect margarita to celebrate a big win on or off the court."

The renewed partnership is just the latest ace in Fritz’s growing brand portfolio: Ahead of the BNP Paribas Open, he parted ways with Nike in favor of new apparel sponsor Hugo Boss, before inking a “dream” deal with his favorite fast food restaurant Chipotle. He’s also been promoting healthy hydration in partnership with Waterdrop, and this week “sleep fitness” brand Eight Sleep announced Fritz as its first athlete ambassador.

Sounds like Fritz might need a spicy margarita of his own after all that hard work! Here’s how to make his signature cocktail at home:
