The 44th season of World TeamTennis will see two new teams, in Orlando and Las Vegas.

World TeamTennis (WTT) CEO Carlos Silva joins the podcast this week to talk with Inside the Tour co-hosts Nina Pantic and Irina Falconi. Silva came to WTT in January after four years as League President of the Professional Fighters League (PFL) and CEO of World Series of Fighting (WSOF).

Silva has a background deeply rooted in tennis having played for Boston College as well as having had a taste of professional tennis. He's fronting the 44th season of WTT which starts on July 14 and ends with the final in Las Vegas on August 3. There will be two new teams this year thanks in part to Silva's experience in entertainment sports: the Orlando Storm and Las Vegas Rollers.

The season promises to be a great one with the likes of Venus Williams, Mike and Bob Bryan, Frances Tiafoe, Nick Kyrgios, John Isner and Madison Keys all signed to one of the eight teams. Silva speaks on some of the greatest challenges of the innovative league, how he got to his position, what he's looking to do as CEO, how tennis is changing and a lot more.
