Ashleigh Barty once again served up an inspiring and truly emotional three-set win over Karolina Pliskova to lift the Venus Rosewater Dish. The Aussie always dreamt of winning the Wimbledon title and she saw her dreams come true on Centre Court on the 50th anniversary of Indigenous Australian Evonne Goolagong Cawley's first Wimbledon title. She's also the first Australian woman since Goolagong in 1980 to win The Championships.

The world No. 1 wore a beautiful scallop-hemmed skirt and complete outfit that was a tribute to the seven-time major winner. The win ups Barty’s Grand Slam count to two and four titles this year alone. With her gritty win over the Czech, she also improved her record to 35-6 on the season, making her the first woman to reach 35 wins in 2021. Although she won’t be returning back home to Australia but instead will gear up for the quickly approaching Olympics—Aussies and the world have been helping her celebrate the momentous occasion.
