It looks like Bianca Andreescu isn't the only player getting a picture book in 2022. On Thursday, ABC's Good Morning America exclusively revealed that Serena Williams is also jumping into the publishing world with her very first children's book. "The Adventures of Qai Qai" is currently in the works and will be available next year.

The book is based off Serena's daughter, Olympia's favorite doll that hasn't just stolen the heart of her four-year-old but the world. Qai Qai is quite the social media star as she has garnished over 300 thousand followers on Instagram alone and has 3 million fans altogether.

"Qai Qai has an infectious spirit and models a belief that anything is possible," Serena told GMA.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion is excited to continue to spread love and happiness with this book that plays off a narrative of endless possibilities. The picture book's storyline will center around friendship and the importance of imagination.

"Since realizing @RealQaiQai's ability to spread joy to our own family and also millions of others around the world, we’ve wanted to tell her story in every way possible," Serena wrote on Instagram.

The book is set to release September 2022, but is already available for pre-order on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles for $18.99.

Serena hasn't competed on the WTA Tour since Wimbledon due to injury and has yet to state when she will take the court again.
