After winning the NextGen ATP Finals last year, Jannik Sinner was put into the spotlight. The 19-year-old showed he's the real deal by winning the Sofia Open as an unseeded player on Sunday.

Sinner is now the youngest winner of an ATP Tour title since 2008 when Kei Nishikori won Delray Beach. During his week in Bulgaria, Sinner defeated Alex de Minaur, Adrian Mannarino and finally, Vasek Pospisil.

Sinner is the youngest player in the Top 100, and after winning the Sofia Open he jumped inside of the Top 40 for the first time at No. 37. He's the youngest Italian in the Open era to reach an ATP final and the first man born in 2001 to do it.

The Italian teen is also the sixth first-time title winner this year, joining Ugo Humbert, Casper Ruud, Thiago Seyboth Wild, Miomir Kecmanovic and John Millman.
