It was an eventful day as top seeds fell in Abu Dhabi, and a qualifier continued his spectacular dream week in Delray Beach.

These are the Top 5 Photos from Monday:

Veronika Kudermetova

It was another great day at the office for the world No. 46 as she took out Abu Dhabi's No. 2 seed Elina Svitolina, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (3). By claiming her fifth Top-10 victory, Kudermetova moves into her first semifinal showing of the year where she will face teenager Marta Kostyuk.

Elina Svitolina

The world No. 5 had a solid showing at the year's first event. She ran out of gas in Monday's three-set affair against Kudermetova, but the good news is she has a few matches under her belt, which should serve her well in Melbourne.

Marta Kostyuk

It initially looked like Kostyuk didn't stand a chance against the consistent Sara Sorribes Tormo. She quickly lost the first set without claiming a single game. But she was able to turn the tables, firing off 41 winners to win, 0-6, 6-1, 6-4. The teenager will appear in her first WTA semifinal on Tuesday.

Christian Harrison

The American's dream run is still going, despite a hiccup. Harrison encountered some trouble when he was fined $3,000 for not doing his on-court interview on Saturday (due to the mask requirement). On Monday, the 26-year-old qualifier defeated Gianluca Mager, 7-6 (2), 6-4, to reach his first ATP semifinal, and he made good on a second chance at the on-court interview.

Maria Sakkari

Sakkari came up with the biggest upset of the day in Abu Dhabi when she took out top seed Sofia Kenin. The Greek was a little too defensive in the first set, but after the changeover she stepped up her game. From there she would take control of the match, defeating the world No. 4-ranked American, 0-6, 6-2, 6-0.
