Things got pretty sweet in Dubai as Novak Djokovic captured his 16th consecutive win. The world No. 1 had no issues dismissing No. 7 seed Karen Khachanov, 6-2, 6-2, to maintain his spotless 2020 record.

Aryna Sabalenka put a stop to Zheng Saisai's run in Doha by rallying back from a set down to dig out a 3-6, 7-6 (2), 6-3 win. The world No. 13 will next face Svetlana Kuznetsova, who she fell to last year in Madrid.

The No. 2 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas was pushed to step up against Jan-Lennard Struff on Thursday. Tsitsipas slipped past the German, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, to move into the Dubai semifinals, where he will meet Dan Evans.

Gael Monfils fired past Richard Gasquet, 6-3,6-3, in Dubai and boosted his winning streak to 12 consecutive matches. The Frenchman will vie for a spot in the event's final against world No. 1 Djokovic, who has yet to lose a match this year.

Petra Kvitova didn't have to battle through another three-set thriller, but the No. 8 seed was put to the test by Ons Jabeur. The Czech fought through another windy day to take the quarterfinal match, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4).
