Sometimes a player is so into a match that she doesn't even realize she has won even when the final point is played. In Istanbul, Basak Eraydin, a Turkish qualifier and wildcard entry, upset No. 74-ranked Tsvetana Pironkova in straight sets.

It took Eraydin around 20 full seconds—while looking for another ball from the ball kids—to notice that her opponent was at the net and the match was over. Despite the hiccup, the world No. 257 very excited to be moving on in front of her home country.

The 22-year-old is riding an eight-match win streak after winning an ITF Pro Circuit $60,000 in Istanbul earlier this month.
