In the Fed Cup final, the Czech Republic would top the United States, 3-0, but the scoreline doesn't do the battle justice.

Making her debut, 19-year-old Sofia Kenin pushed veteran Barbora Strycova to three sets on Saturday, before Alison Riske lost to Katerina Siniakova, 6-3, 7-6 (2). Strycova was playing her final Fed Cup tie, while Kenin was competing in her first.

With the Fed Cup crown on the line, Siniakova won an epic 7-5, 5-7, 7-5 marathon over Kenin to clinch the tie.

Kenin did not go down without a fight. The American clawed back from a 4-1 deficit in the third set, reeling off four games in a row and holding match points, before ultimately succumbing after over three hours of rollercoaster drama.

Siniakova was the MVP of the weekend, stepping up to score two points for her country after Czech No. 1 Petra Kvitova couldn't play due to an illness.

The American team still enjoyed a stellar experience, playing a competitive away tie with three rookies. They got in plenty of team bonding in while in Prague, including a scavenger hunt.

Team USA still scored one win in Prague when they beat the Czech Republic 5-3 ... in hockey.
