Novak Djokovic isn't playing again until the US Open, but that doesn't mean he's taking it easy in the dog days of summer. The 24-time Grand Slam champion showed off his dance skills on TikTok this week, dubbing himself "Brunovak" Djokovic as he grooved to "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars.

The earworm has been a popular choice to soundtrack netizens throwing down on the social media app in the 2020s, and Djokovic joined in wearing a yellow sweatsuit and metallic aviator sunglasses.

"#summermode," he called it, while popping his collar and brushing dirt off his shoulder.

The boogie-down was well-received by fans: Djokovic only joined TikTok last July ahead of the Paris Olympics, but his latest video is already his second-most viewed on the platform, with 6.2 million views.

Djokovic's TikToK even had fans comparing him to another of his Grand Slam-winning peers.

"Novak, you have been spending waaay too much time with Aryna Sabalenka," wrote one fan in the comments, referring to the WTA No. 1's own penchant for creating TikTok videos. After the two have been seen yukking it up on the practice court and on Sabalenka's new YouTube channel in recent weeks, another even suggested "100%" that Sabalenka was the one filming.

But fans will have to wait until the US Open to see if the two TikTok mavens have plans to break the internet with a video together. After he wtihdrew from this week's ATP Masters 1000 in Toronto, it was reported on Monday that Djokovic will skip next week's Cincinnati Open, too.

Djokovic's next match action is therefore expected to be the US Open’s reimagined mixed doubles event, before he takes aim again at a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam singles title. He and countrywoman Olga Danilovic were among six wild card teams named alongside the eight direct entries last week.
