After the BB&T Atlanta Open, players head north into the heart of the United States, Washington D.C. The Citi Open is always full of action-packed play that has seen some of the sport's best raise the trophy over the decades, including Andre Agassi, Jimmy Connors, Andy Roddick, Alexander Zverev and Sloane Stephens.

This year, the draw is packed with top contenders, despite notably missing back-to-back champion Zverev. Top entrances include Stephens, Kei Nishikori, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Nick Kyrgios, Madison Keys and Sofia Kenin. Kyrgios and Tsitsipas will team up for doubles, while Andy Murray will play with his brother Jamie.

This year, the tournament has created a new Stadium Club section for fans who want to watch the match in air-conditioned comfort (and watch the players sweating in the hot sun).
