It can be baffling to wonder how Venus Williams has been able to maintain a top-level tennis career in now four different decades. But looking at how she lives her public life, it's clear that a few things keep her sane, such as outside interests, having the right people supporting her and taking satisfaction the the little victories day to day.

For her latest YouTube video, Williams gave a glimpse into #StayHome life and answered questions from fans. In doing so, she showed everyone why her life as a tennis player and well-rounded person is one she'd want to keep going as long as possible.

Her first question, fittingly, came from Serena Williams herself: "Do you love me?"

Of course, the answer was yes, but Venus went on to explain:

"Serena and I have a really special relationship because there's five of us, and I'm No. 4, Serena's No. 5. She's the only one that I'm older than, so ... I always felt like I have to take care of her ... We always take care of each other, so don't mess with us."

Shows she likes to binge-watch:

1

90 Day Fiancé

2

How I Met Your Mother

3

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

"I've watched that on rotation every year for the past four or five years," Venus said of Kimmy Schmidt. "I just love that show. My best friend is Titus."

The possibility of becoming a coach:

"No. You know why? Because they don't listen," Venus said. "You tell 'em to win the point, and they lose the point. You can't put up with that."

"Actually, I do love being on court with kids," she added. "So I think, once I'm done playing tennis, I'll probably take a little break and then help the young kids a little bit."

Her favorite sports outside of tennis:

1

Track and field ("It's mesmerizing what they do.")

2

American football (Venus and Serena are part owners of the Miami Dolphins.)

3

Table tennis ("I'm obsessed with [it], but I don't play it because I have to just take a break from racquet sports.")

And who her idols are:

"Definitely Mom and Dad," Venus said, "because they helped me to achieve all my dreams and, more than anything, to feel good about me. A lot of people struggle to feel good about themselves, but thankfully I was taught to do that. I'm comfortable with who I am, and that's all you need in life."

Venus also recently made a fun—and highly motivating—at-home video with three-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski, who's decided to come back to the NFL after having unofficially retired in 2019.

Williams, 39, doesn't seem close to wanting to leave her sport either. "It's a good day," she said at the end of her video. "I worked out twice, and I'm gonna go play some tennis after this."
