Venus Williams launches lip balm collection

Just when you think Venus Williams has done it all, she does even more. The seven-time major champion recently launched a collection of vegan and cruelty-free lip balms under her activewear brand EleVen.

In collaboration with the largest, safest beauty assortment Credo Beauty, the sheer lip balm offers an SPF15. The tinted lip balm also contains moisturizing shea butter, a soothing bayberry fruit wax and 100% mineral UVA/UVB protection.

"Why do your lips matter too as much as your face? Your lips have skin, which can get sun damaged and we have to protect each and every part of our bodies and treat it very special," Venus said. "Don't forget your lips."

The balms are priced at $19 and come in shades unsurprisingly named after tennis references: "Game Day," "Venus Perfect Form," "Power Player," and "15 Love."

Last May, Venus released her first beauty product under EleVen, a silky SPF serum that doubles as a hydrating serum and sunscreen. The clean sun-care product would earn the title of Allure's 2020 Best of Beauty.

Venus is set to take the court in Miami at this week's WTA 1000-level event.
