Venus Williams shares importance of rest and recovery in new collab with GhostBed

Turns out it wasn’t just practice that got Venus Williams to the top of her craft, but rest and recovery also played a major role in her success. This is perhaps why her latest collaboration is with leading mattress retailer and manufacturer of boxed beds, GhostBed.

“Together, we’re designing sleep solutions built for champions. What you sleep on and in play a big part in how you wake up,” Williams told GhostBed.

Whether customers’ world is on the court, in the boardroom or on the field, Venus is excited to reveal her collection that’s made for all sorts of champions. The initial collection will mainly consist of performance mattresses designed by the seven-time major champion, but ultimately will expand into home furnishings and more.

Venus not only comes into the collaboration with the knowledge of what it takes to be a world class athlete, but she also has a wealth of design knowledge and her current interior design will also be pitching into the collab.

While the line doesn’t have an official launch date just yet, the first few products are set to hit the market later this year.
