Verdasco weds Ana Boyer on private Caribbean island

Fernando Verdasco is officially off the market. The 34-year-old got married to Spanish socialite Ana Boyer in a beautiful wedding on Mustique island.

Feliciano Lopez was the best man, while Boyer's half-sibling Enrique Iglesias was notably missing from the event. Boyer, 28, is the daughter of Isabel Preysler and former Spanish finance minister Miguel Boyer. Preysler was married to Julio Iglesias from 1971-79, and Miguel Boyer from 1987 until his death in 2014.

The wedding location on the private island of Mustique in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was carefully chosen since it was Miguel Boyer's favorite getaway.

Verdasco is the second pro tennis player addition to the Boyer-Iglesias clan, as Enrique Iglesias has been dating Anna Kournikova for over a decade.

Veradasco finished the 2017 season ranked No. 35. He reached three semifinals as well as the final of Dubai.

He's not the only pro star to get married this offseason, following closely on the heels of John Isner's South Carolina wedding and Serena Williams tying the knot with Alexis Ohanian.
