With tennis placed on hold and stay at home orders being urged around the globe amidst the coronavirus pandemic, what's Alex de Minaur to do? The Aussie took to his backyard and traded his racquet for a golf club.

It appears the de Minaur's athletic talent expands past the baseline of a tennis court. He aimed his chip shot towards a cup that served as his target and nearly placed the ball perfectly inside the cup.

But his shot would barely miss, clipping the edge and rolling off. The 21-year-old wasn't happy and chucked the club over the fence. "I'm officially retiring... due to the fact that I lost my club," he said.

De Minaur had a tough start to his 2020 season when he was unable to recover from an abdominal strain during the inaugural ATP Cup. He would be forced to pull out of Adelaide and the Australian Open.

With the tennis calendar in limbo, the silver lining is that de Minaur has gotten additional time to rest and recover from the injury, and his lost golf club.
