Juan Martin del Potro channeled his superhero abilities to defeat Dominic Thiem in five incredible sets on Monday. The first two sets were frankly terrible for the Argentinian, but he bounced back and rallied together what is sure to be the one of the most memorable matches of the year.

Of course, the Internet noticed and turned Del Potro into Thor to beat back Thiem on court. Roger Federer took advantage of the viral joke to create the nickname, "Del Thortro."

It will only be a matter of time before the real superhero emerges as the two will face in the quarterfinals on Wednesday night.
