When Dustin Brown is on court, one can always expect the unexpected.

On Sunday, the German executed the most captivating Ultimate Tennis Showdown finish yet at Corentin Moutet's dispense.

After taking the fourth quarter to force sudden death, Brown saved a match point of his own before going all out to topple the Frenchman. In the pair's final point, Brown kept Moutet pinned behind the baseline with deep ball striking, but gave the left-hander a chance to pass at the net.

Moutet put just enough air on the ball to set Brown up with an opportunity to pull out his inner Boris Becker, on a hard court. His execution on the forehand dive volley? A 10/10.

"When you hit the ball, you gotta make up your mind," Brown said."On a point like that where really one point counts, I was like, 'I'm diving. I don't care if I make it, don't make it.'

"I think it was my best performance so far, since I've been here."

In winning, "The Artist" prevented Moutet from moving to 2-0 in Group B round-robin play. Should Fernando Verdasco defeat Benoit Paire, all four players would stand at 1-1 heading into next Saturday. Brown went 2-6 during the inaugural edition of UTS.
