But it turns out even all-time greats have a tendency to want to work on trick shots—watch Roger Federer, isolated in the snow with just a wall as a practice partner, go between the legs and behind the back shot after shot, letting neither pandemic nor precipitation get in the way of his tennis enjoyment:

Federer's famous creativity in practice can certainly be connected to his comfort on the match court. More than anything, though, this clip shows that, as he creeps ever closer to age 40, he remains at heart a kid playing a game.
