All the extra time this spring, plus the popularization of TikTok, has provided a prime opportunity for players to poke fun at one another. On Thursday night, Coco Gauff picked a pretty big target, parodying the time Nick Kyrgios said his water bottle "slipped" out of his hand.

"I’m sorry Nick but I had to," Gauff captioned her video, in which she mimed the "Laugh Out Loud" meme and made quite the watery mess:

"I DIDN’T EVEN MEAN FOR THE BOTTLE TO BREAK NOW MY ROOM IS SOAKED," she then commented.

While one would hope Kyrgios' influence on Gauff isn't too direct, he did win that Citi Open match in Washington, 6-2, 7-5, and he went on to take the title.

However, the round prior, Kyrgios famously called umpire Fergus Murphy "a potato," and by September he was put on probation for "a pattern of behavior related to Kyrgios’s Verbal Abuse," a warning he's so far heeded effectively.

That hasn't stopped him from making plenty of noise, though; just this week, he's scoffed at both the Madrid Open Virtual Pro video-game tournament ...

And the traction-gaining idea that the ATP and WTA should merge.

Gauff, meanwhile, looks to be having a lovely time at home:
