John Isner sat down to chat about a few compelling Roland Garros storylines, including the most difficult one involving his friend Steve Johnson. Johnson's father passed away suddenly at the age of 58 just three weeks ago.

"For him to persevere in a moment like that, it was incredible," Isner said of Johnson's second-round win. "When you think of lasting images of 2017 in tennis, that’s got to be at the top. He’s showing incredible heart in my opinion, being able to play with such a heavy heart and playing well."
