WATCH: Lizards do battle in Pet Tennis Championships

In a battle of the ages, the lizard finals of the Pet Tennis Championship saw Tail Monphilles take on Nick Chamelios.

The dramatic match saw a lot of momentum swings, as the two chameleons split sets before Chamelios broke away with the third-set.

"I know I got a slow start but the best player always emerges," Chamelios said. Though harboring an Australian accent, the talented reptile actually hails from Madagascar.

In an unsportsmanlike move, Monphilles attempted to steal the trophy away in the pressroom, but just like on the court, he was denied.
