In the wake of a global pandemic and widespread interest in The Last of Us, good to know Sloane Stephens will be taking selfies through any forthcoming apocalypse.

“She’d be like, ‘World ending, look cute!’” joked good friend Madison Keys as she and Stephens played a rousing game of superlatives at the Dallas Open.

The Americans were on hand for the ATP 250 tournament to play an exhibition singles match to kick off the week, but stuck around for a hilarious interview with tennis’ queen of all media, Blair Henley.

“Who is more likely to tell the waiter it’s their birthday for free cake?” Henley asks.

Stephens doesn’t skip a beat.

“Multiple times!”

The former US Open champion is set to bypass the Middle East swing and compete in Mexico for the inaugural Mérida Open Akron. Mexico has long been a fruitful country for Stephens, who has won two of her seven titles in Central America—including her most recent in Guadalajara last February.
