The Mexican Open in Acapulco is known for having some of the most fun pre-tournament events on tour: Last year, SpongeBob Squarepants made an appearance alongside Rafael Nadal, and this time, "Despacito" singer Luis Fonsi came out to play.

Fonsi tested his tennis skills at Sunday's the Desert Smash event, alongside Stan Wawrinka and fellow Puerto Rican star Monica Puig.

He even sang his No. 1 hit a-cappella for the crowd:
