WATCH: Security guard doesn't recognize Nadal

In Paris for the ATP Masters 1000, world No. 1 Rafael Nadal forgot to bring his credential to the tennis center. The security guard, doing his job with thoroughness, wasn't so keen to just let the Spaniard prance through.

It just goes to show, you're never as famous as you think you are and even a 16-time Grand Slam champion can struggle to get by without proper proof of identification.

Nadal would secure the year-end No. 1 ranking in Paris, but withdraw with a knee injury, putting his goal for a first year-end championship title in doubt. The 31-year-old hasn't confirmed if he will compete, but is set to travel to London on Wednesday.
