Serena Williams won her Wimbledon semifinal over Elena Vesnina on Thursday in just 48 minutes, 6-2, 6-0. Right after she dispatched the Russian, Williams went full fan girl in a meeting with Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

“OK, so I'm in the 'in-crowd' now,” Serena says in her Snapchat clip. “I’m with royalty.”

The 21-time Grand Slam champion has been in the "in-crowd" for arguably all of her life, but she admitted that royalty can make her nervous.

“It was really nice to meet with them,” she said in her post-match press conference. "I actually didn't know they were both here. It was really cool. We just had a chat about the matches. Yeah, again, I was surprised. It was a good thing that I did not see that they were there. Maybe I would have gotten a little nervous.”

The 34-year-old will contest her ninth Wimbledon final on Saturday against Angelique Kerber, who beat Serena's older sister, Venus, 6-4, 6-4.
