WATCH: Williams sisters have height advantage in Paris

On Wednesday, you might have seen that TENNIS.comwrote about Serena Williams and Venus Williams teaming up to beat Shuko Aoyoma and Miyu Kato 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 in their first-round doubles match at the French Open. It marked the Williams sisters' first Grand Slam match together since winning Wimbledon in 2016.

What wasn't mentioned is just how big a mismatch it was not only in success—Venus and Serena have won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles together—but in size. The Williams sisters are both very tall, with Serena listed as 5'9'' and Venus is 6'1''. Their opponents, on the other hand, were each 5'1" and didn't necessarily see them eye-to-eye:

It is worth noting that while this might appear to have been a David and Goliath situation, the match was anything but that. Aoyoma and Kato took it to the Williams sisters right from the opening point and the Americans needed to fight back to score a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 win.
