Iga Swiatek has changed her rhymes, but not her rhythm in 2023, edging into the third round of the 2023 Australian Open without losing a set and sharing one of the secrets to her continued success on court.

“I actually just changed my playlist before the match,” she admitted after defeating Camila Osorio in straight sets. “I was listening to the same songs for like two years. So, it was tough. But I did that and it's working. So hopefully the songs are not going to mess up my head!”

So what is the world No. 1 listening to these days? If her WTA Finals comments still hold, nothing from Taylor Swift’s Midnights album made the cut.

I think Black Sabbath is there, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin but different songs than before, and Lenny Kravitz. Different but still the same kind of stuff. Iga Swiatek

Swiatek shared some of her pre-match playlist in her post-match press conference.

“It's still rock,” she said. “Just different songs. Red Hot Chili Peppers.

“Well, it's a new one,” she adds after a pause. “That's why I don't remember. I think Black Sabbath is there, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin but different songs than before, and Lenny Kravitz. Different but still the same kind of stuff.”

Can we get an official list up on Spotify and/or Apple Music? Fans would surely subscribe in the thousands hoping to emulate her on-court swagger as she prepares to reach the second week in Melbourne for a fourth straight year.
