The WTA's stars have something to say: "That's not my name!"

The famous earworm by the pop duo The Ting Tings was applicable in more ways than one in Charleston this week, as players like Ons Jabeur, Maria Sakkari, Elina Sviotlina came together to educate fans on how exactlytheir names are pronounced.

"My name is Elina Svitolina," the Ukrainian humorously begins, "not E-line-uh Svito-line-uh!"

Once and for all, Sakkari wants you to know that it's not "Suh-car-ee," while Jabeur says "it's not Jab-oor," nor "Jab-wear."

Pronounciations aside, the video also revealed some other interesting nicknames for the sport's top players. For example, Jessica Pegula's friends, logically, call her JP or JPEG, but is the more quizzical "J-Bo" to her parents. Emma Navarro's best friend calls her "Beans" (though even she doesn't know why!)

But the most revealing confession? The spelling of Victoria Azarenka's name has undergone a change in her years on tour. Her surname in Cyrillic can be translated as "Azarenko."

"I changed it when I was very young and it stuck with the rankings, so I never changed it back," the former world No. 1 says.

And if there's ever any further doubt as far as phonetics are concerned, commentators and fans alike should take the Tunisian's parting advice to heart.

"Just keep it simple!"
