Wimbledon is a magical time of year in the tennis world, particularly for those who’ve played on the hallowed grounds of the All England Club.

Former champion Ashleigh Barty revealed her first child would have a Wimbledon birthday on Tuesday, debuting baby Hayden to fans on Instagram.

“Our beautiful boy,” captioned the former world No. 1. “Welcome to the world!”

Barty announced her surprising decision to retire from tennis shortly after winning her third Grand Slam title at the Australian Open last March. She married partner Garry Kissick later that year before announcing the two would be growing their family ahead of this year’s Australian Open.

“We are so excited for our new adventure,” Barty wrote at the time.

Across the aisle, former ATP doubles No. 2 Jack Sock had an exciting announcement of his own alongside wife Laura Little, who shared that the two are expecting a baby later this year.

“Adding a Little Sock to the family,” joked Little-Sock.

Ranked as high as No. 8 in singles, the former Rolex Paris Masters champion has been recently flirting with a career in pickleball, cementing the decision with a mixed doubles title with Anna Leigh Waters at the PPA North Carolina Open in May.

Might babies Barty and Little-Sock team up on the tennis court in time for a future Wimbledon Championship?
