WTA players reveal which Chinese food they enjoy the most

Most of the WTA is in Wuhan this week for the Premier 5 event and that means they're likely tasting a lot of different Chinese food. At the player party, a few were asked what they've tried and what they like the most.

Recent US Open champions Ashleigh Barty and CoCo Vandeweghe stuck with what they know best, Western food, while plenty of others claimed another safe option, fried rice.

Elina Svitolina is more adventurous as she showed her love for dim sum and noodles.

American Madison Keys is open to a new kind of breakfast that doesn't include pancakes or eggs.

"I like the dumplings and I'm very into all of the soups at breakfast and all of that," she said.

The winner for boldest taste in local cuisine is Petra Kvitova, who is a fan of peking duck.

Remarkably, all of the seeded players in the feature lost before the quarterfinals with No. 16 seed Barty the only one remaining. She’s into the semifinals where she'll face unseeded Aryna Sabalenka.
