Zheng Qinwen, popularly known as “Queenwen” picked up another crown on the same day she kicked off her Porsche Tennis Grand Prix campaign, officially joining world No. 1 Iga Swiatek as a Lancôme Brand Ambassador.

The Australian Open finalist made quick work of Sorana Cirstea, winning 6-2, 6-3 in Stuttgart and continuing to clean up off the court with this latest brand deal. Zheng’s news comes 24 hours after Swiatek, who is also set to make her 2024 clay-court debut as Stuttgart’s defending champion, made announced her own Lancôme deal.

Chinese journalist Bendou Zhang broke the news on Twitter/X alongside an image of the 21-year-old Zheng from her debut ad for the French luxury fragrance and cosmetics brand:

Seeded fifth in Stuttgart, Zheng, who was named the WTA’s Most Improved Player of 2023, is at a career-high ranking of No. 7 after beginning the 2024 season by reaching her first major final—the best result by a Chinese player since Li Na won the Australian Open ten years ago in 2014.

"I always try to find who I am," she told *WTA Insider* in a podcast released this week. "I don't want to think I am the best in the world. Obviously, that is not the right mentality. But I don't want to be too low, that I'm not good enough. That's not the right way to think. I'm trying to not be disturbed by what others are saying about me, to know who I really am.

"Obviously I am still on the road to try to explore who I am. Tennis just shows me a lot about who I really am."

Zheng is already endorsed by the likes of Nike, Wilson, and Gatorade, and has graced magazine covers like GQ China.

Her next opponent in Stuttgart will be either Marta Kostyuk or 2017 champion Laura Siegemund, who is playing her home tournament as a wild card.
