Ladies and gentlemen, the Italian Renaissance is back. And its leading man is Jannik Sinner.

Aside from being a semifinalist at Wimbledon this year and winning his first Masters 1000 title in Toronto, which are notable achievements in and of themselves, Sinner became the talk of the town at the tail end of the 2023 season.

At the ATP Finals, he secured his first victory over Novak Djokovic in a thrilling round robin clash and ultimately finished runner-up in a final rematch with the Serbian. Less than a week later, he defeated Djokovic in singles and doubles at the Davis Cup and went on to clinch the championship point for Italy against Australia, ending his country’s 47-year title drought.

With four ATP titles in 2023, Sinner raised his career total to 10 and joined Adriano Panatta as the highest-ranked Italian in ATP history. Ending the year as world No. 4, fans worldwide are cheering him all the way to No. 1.

Will the 22-year-old carry his success into the 2024 season, namely on the Grand Slam stage? Forza, Jannik!
