An unexpected visit to the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell

Tsongas Center's primary tenants are the UMass Lowell hockey and basketball teams.
The scoreboard, along with much of the venue's interior, has received a facelift over the last 10 years.
Twenty years ago, American and Czech flags hungs from the rafters; today, the maple leaf and the stars and stripes are given permanent recognition.
Jay-Z graced the Tsongas Center in 2003, the same year of the famous Fed Cup tie.
Trevor Noah, who just shot a YouTube short with Roger Federer, came to Lowell in 2018.
UMass Lowell hockey plays in Division I and boasts numberous alums in the NHL.
