Katie Boulter: Tennis Channel's "Open" shoot at Indian Wells

Boulter entered Indian Wells fresh off her second career title run, in San Diego. Ranked 49th, she won all five matches at the 500-level tournament against players ranked 36th or better.
Per the WTA, Boulter was the lowest-ranked player to win a WTA 500 title since Liudmila Samsonova—ranked 106th at the time—claimed Berlin in 2021.
Boulter will enter Wimbledon having just successfully defended her grass-court title in Nottingham.
The Brit has never reached the fourth round of a Slam, but has posted her best results in a major at Wimbledon.
Katie and fellow player Alex de Minaur just celebrated four years together as a couple.
More cause for celebration: Boulter and de Minaur have twice won titles in the same tournament week.
