The Laver Cup is once again upon us. The three-day team competition that pits Europe’s best against the rest of the world has quickly become a fan-favorite in only its third year of existence. And with Roger Federer so pivotally involved in the creation and execution of the event—not to mention this installment taking place in his native Switzerland—Wilson is rolling out two limited-edition Laver Cup Pro Staff frames to commemorate the occasion. One of which, the RF97 Autograph, will be in Federer’s hands for the duration of the tournament.

As with previous limited-edition Pro Staffs, the specs and technologies in these models are identical to the stock versions. The RF97 Autograph remains a heavy, stable, surgical tool aimed at highly skilled competitors, while the 97L is a lighter, friendlier version for improving players. What’s different is the vibrant Team Europe blue colorway, which matches the team’s Laver Cup uniform. The three and nine o’clock positions on the head also have blue gloss accents. A silver-etched Laver Cup logo resides on the inside of the throat, as does Roger Federer’s signature on the Autograph.

The Laver Cup Pro Staff RF97 Autograph ($249) and Pro Staff 97L ($219) went on sale today (9/20) to coincide with the first day of the event. The frames are available at wilson.com and select tennis retailers worldwide.
