The EZONE 100 has been both a fan favorite and TW-playtester favorite since the beginning of the franchise more than 10 years ago. Boasting user-friendly specs, the Yonex EZONE 100 gets some small, yet impressive, changes in its sixth iteration. While the specs remain virtually unchanged, Yonex has added a couple of new technologies to the frame, including M40X material to the throat and Vibration Dampening Mesh to the handle for a cleaner feel. Additionally, the Liner Tech Grommet and String System are meant to reduce string friction and offer a more forgiving feel. Our playtesters have a long history with this family of racquets, and they were quite pleased with the update. They thought the Yonex EZONE 100 leaned toward the plush feel of the DR model, which was a welcomed return. The easy-to-use racquet excelled from all areas of the court, and the playtesters raved about the combination of power and control, easy depth and excellent maneuverability. All in all, intermediate to advanced players of all ages and styles should definitely try out the versatile Yonex EZONE 100.
