On Tuesday, Stan Wawrinka withdrew from the Rio Olympics because of an injury, not saying exactly what the ailment was. The world No. 4’s management company issued a statement that he “felt increasing pain” in Toronto and was told by doctors to “reduce his physical activity for an undetermined period.” Half of the men’s Top 10 will be missing in Rio.
