Angelique Kerber is adding an old coach, Benjamin Ebrahimzadeh, back into her team for the US Open.
The German has not won a tournament since her 2016 triumph at Flushing Meadows, and said she wanted to change things up. She was coached by Ebrahimzadeh between 2013 and 2015, during a temporary split with her current coach.
"We practice," she said. "He [worked] with me for, like, a long time and we decide, 'OK, I have to have something new.' But Torben [Beltz] is still in my team."
