Ankle continues to dog Wozniacki

Caroline Wozniacki has retired with an ankle injury down 6-3 against Jie Zheng in the Warsaw quarterfinals.

Wozniacki has not won consecutive matches since hurting her ankle at Charleston. She took only one week off after the injury and was playing her fourth tournament in a row in Warsaw.
