Paul Annacone has resigned from his position as the head of men's tennis at the LTA with immediate effect. Annacone began working with Roger Federer in July but had planned to finish his remaining duties with the LTA, which run till November.
The LTA said Annacone resigned to avoid the possibility of a conflict of interest. Federer and Britain's Andy Murray could meet in the final of the U.S. Open.
