Aw, Ratz.

I was hoping against hope that the Lindsay Davenport vs. Maria Sharapova match tomorrow might somehow be scheduled early (as if. .. ), but it looks like we on EST will have to run Dawn Patrol if we want to see the match, live. Somehow, Tatiana Perebinyis vs. Ai Sugiyama (second on Court 6) just doesn't have the same ring.

Here is a housekeeping update: We'll be running a Q-and-A session with Tom Perrotta on Thursday; I will put up a post at his *String Theory* blog inviting you to post questions for Tomahawk, and he'll do his best to answer those that he can, or which are relevant, when he wakes up on Friday morning. Also, Tom and I will have live chat right here at TW, probably toward the middle of the second week. See how that works. . .

I will be out of the picture next Tuesday, as I am going out to Las Vegas to hook up with Andre Agassi for the afternoon, and I'll see what I can mine out of his fine tennis mind that is relevant to the Australian Open. You will, of course, have a Crisis Center thread that day.
