The new ATP Cup team competition, which begins this week in three Australian cities, will be the first official tour competition to use video review for more than line calls.

The ATP said the competition would have six additional cameras for foot fault calls, and players could also challenge other umpire decisions like double bounces and whether a player touched the ball.

The technology was used at the ATP NextGen Finals in Milan, which is not an official tour competition.

Players and coaches will also have access to statistics and point replay on court in the team event.

The ATP Cup will have 24 countries competing in groups at Brisbane, Perth and Sydney.
