Just 15 years old, Ashleigh Barty stuns former No. 39 Casey Dellacqua in the Australian Open wildcard playoff at Melbourne Park. Barty won the Wimbledon junior title last summer. Dellacqua had won six consecutive Futures titles coming into the match. "I know she has a lot of respect for Casey, she likes her as a person and respects her game, and she was in a situation where she probably didn't feel like she had a lot of pressure, and she could just go out and go for her shots," Tennis Australia coach Jason Stoltenberg told The Age. Wimbledon boys' champion Luke Saville also scored a win, beating Chris O'Connell.
