Hi all. With the last set of fourth-round matches commencing shortly, here's today's space for discussing the tennis. We saw a very high volume of comments yesterday, and are expecting a similar amount today, so ask that you keep your talk focused on the tennis until after the day's matches are over - it makes it easier to manage such busy threads.

For a while it looked as though this would be Tomas Berdych, who had Roger Federer down tow sets to none before succumbing over five sets. However, the honour is evenly split between Marion Bartoli and Jelena Dokic. The former coolly removed the world number one from the draw in straight sets - her third victory in a row over Jelena Jankovic. The latter provided fans with another compelling, gutsy three-setter in front of a highly partisan crowd in her adopted country, and pulled off the win in spite of an apparent ankle injury sustained in the latter stages.
As always, enjoy today's tennis.
