Current No. 2 Victoria Azarenka says her time as world No. 1 was both enjoyable and difficult. With Maria Sharapova's loss to Sabine Lisicki, Azarenka now has a chance to reclaim the No. 1 ranking after Wimbledon.
"It was both. Always enjoy," she said. "Didn't really think about it. I've been already No. 1. I kind of reached that goal already. Of course, it's nice to be back. "
Azarenka added that the players did target her more when she was No. 1. "They still target pretty good right now. It's not really a big difference."
