Time may soon be called on Carlos Alcaraz's 2025 tennis season, but the Spaniard's blonde era doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon.

Back home in Murica this week ahead the final Masters 1000 event of the season in Paris, the year-end ATP Finals in Turin, and the Davis Cup Final 8, Alcaraz's tennis game wasn't the only thing getting a tune-up.

With the icy buzzcut he debuted after winning his second US Open title in September beginning to fade to a salt-and-pepper fringe as early as the Laver Cup in late September, Alcaraz paid a much-needed visit to his personal barber, Victor Martinez.

But instead of returning to his roots (literally), Alcaraz leveled up. Platinum was back with a vengeance by the time Alcaraz had a training session with young American Darwin Blanch on Wednesday.

"Super Saiyan evolved again," wrote Martinez on Instagram, referencing the famous bleach-blonde lead character from the Dragon Ball Z franchise.

With more than 130,000 likes on the Instagram post showcasing his refreshed locks, Alcaraz and Martinez's mutual vision will no doubt divide the internet (and the locker room) again. But Martinez says that the two don't pay much mind to what people are saying after building up an ironclad trust as stylist and client.

"Whenever he travels to Murcia, he always visits me at the barbershop. He always comes to get a cut," Martinez told tennis outlet Bounces this spring. "Only me. I’ve even offered to find him a barber wherever he is, and he says no; he waits. 'I’ll wait until I’m in Murcia, and you’ll cut it.'"

"Carlos’ cut is bold and young," he continued. "Some people like it, others don’t. But Carlos and I laugh at the bad comments. It’s funny. He likes it, and so do I. Yeah, I get a lot of comments. But I only focus on the good ones. That’s it."
