Also, 15th-seeded Francesca Schiavone of Italy got past Georgia's Anna Tatishvili, 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (3), and Madison Keys defeated fellow American Jamie Hampton, 2-6, 6-3 , 7-6 (3).
